I have been lazy today. Like, totally lazy. I didn't get out of bed until almost 2pm. I haven't opened photoshop to continue with anything I should have been. I didn't open my capping program. I haven't turned my TV on.

I think I need people to kick my backside in to gear and keep me on track.

Actually, I have noticed that many places have been quiet today:

Live Journal

I would love it if some of you lovely people on my friends list could add me to those :D

If you would like my info for any of them, feel free to ask me either in a comment or a PM - it doesn't bother me either way.
(obviously, if you are reading this, you already have me on LJ so you don't need that info)

I LOVE talking to people, having fun in general, and talking about specific things. LJ (with it's limits on PMs and stuff) isn't really a great place to do that in great detail

So a kind of bad day has just turned worse :(

External hard drive has malfunctioned, claiming it needs to be formatted before it can be used. The same external hard drive which contains my entire life. Photographs of people I will never see again, memories of places I will never go again. All of my music collection, my entire video collection, screen caps, icons, banners, wallpapers.

Yes, a lot of those can be redownloaded and stuff, but a lot of them also can not be.

I'm currently looking for a free software that will recover the information (as I have had it tested via the company that the hard drive belongs to, and they say it can be recovered - but their software will cost $129 - something I don't have.)

I'm also hoping this can be recovered within the week, due to a lot of things on there being needed by 15th February. (A few people on my friends list will know what I'm talking about) That information took me a month to get in the first place, not to mention the time it took me to do something with half of it.

So bad day got worse! Anybody cheer me up? Or recommend a good recovery program for free? (I've tried pandora recovery - this one doesn't work for me)
